Two Year 10 teams, a boys and a girls side, competed at the NSW Secondary Schools South West Championships on the 31st May. This is the first time Magdalene has entered this competition. These teams have both recently won their MISA Oztag competitions, so it made sense to test them against other schools. 

The current Year 10s have many students who are heavily involved in Rugby League, League Tag and Oztag. The culture of these sports are growing in the area and Magdalene's success proved that.

Each division had 20 teams, making it challenging to progress out of each pool, let alone into the Grand Final. Both sides went through undefeated, winning both grand finals in style!
