Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor
On Thursday the 8th of June, the Year 11 and Year 12 Elective Music classes travelled to the Sydney Opera House to listen to the performance of Mozarts ‘Great Mass in C minor’ performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra was prepared by the Japanese master Conductor Masaaki Suzuki and performed in the newly renovated Concert Hall. The Mass performance featured a SATB (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) choir and four vocal soloists. There were two pieces presented on the day and the highlight was the Mass in C minor. Special thanks to Ms Slender and Mrs Curtis for accompanying the students.
