Mrs Dell'Orefice will be traveling to the Philippines in the September school holidays to work for and serve the people living in desperate poverty on the island of Cebu.

There is a great need for eyeglasses in Cebu. The vast majority of people with impaired vision go without optical care and live their entire lives not being able to see. 

I humbly ask that if you have any pre-loved (old!) eyeglasses that you bring them to school this term to donate to the needy in Cebu. You can give them to your PC teacher or place them in the donation box outside the staff room. She take them with her in September and deliver them to the people who need them most.
