Year 7 House Challenge Cup
The Year 7 House Challenge Cup kicked off in Week 1 of this term. Each week, students are competing within their house groups in a range of sports against the other houses for points. We also have an MVP nominated by our Year 11 Sport Leadership group for each sport.
During round 1, Bruchhauser girls took on Chisholm in Netball. Bruchhauser showed great skill and shooting ability, winning 18-5. The girls of Dunne house played Volleyball against the boys of Sedgewick. The girls started strong taking a 2 set to love lead over the Sedgewick boys. However, the boys came back strong taking the overall win 5-2. Hogan girls played Touch Football against the girls of Moore. In a tight contest, Hogan took the win 5-3. Patrician girls took on Sedgewick girls in Soccer. Sedgewick girls got a great start and took the game 6-3. Bruchhauser boys competed against the Chisholm boys in Basketball in a high scoring affair. Chisholm took home the win 41-32. The boys of Dunne played the boys of Moore in Lacrosse. The boys from Dunne were incredibly strong winning this game 5-1. Finally, Hogan and the Patrician boys faced off in Flag Football. A very popular and exciting game saw Patrician take the win in the end 9-6. Well done to all teams.
