On Thursday 1st August, 67 Year 10 students visited the Campbelltown campus of Western Sydney University for a glimpse into an innovative and dynamic academic environment offered by the institution. The tour included the campus library, a hub of modern learning. Equipped with extensive resources, quiet study areas, and collaborative spaces, it provides an ideal setting for research and group work.

Next, the tour visited the mock courthouse, a standout feature of the campus for those interested in Law. This state-of-the-art facility simulates real-world legal proceedings, giving law students a hands-on experience in courtroom dynamics. It’s an essential part of their practical training, bridging theory with practice.

The nursing labs were another highlight. These cutting-edge facilities are designed to mirror real healthcare environments. With advanced simulation equipment and realistic patient mannequins, students gain invaluable clinical skills and experience in a controlled setting. The labs are crucial for preparing students for the complexities of real-world nursing.

Finally, students visited a lecture room on the campus which offered a modern and interactive learning environment. Designed to foster engagement and collaboration, these spaces are equipped with the latest technology to support dynamic teaching methods.

Overall, Western Sydney University's Campbelltown campus tour provided a comprehensive experience for students wanting to know what a day on-site looks like.
