Students in Year 10 Commerce have been studying Law in Action. Throughout this topic, students investigated a range of situations in which individuals may come in contact with the law. They have examined the legal rights and responsibilities of individuals in society and the range of options available for dispute resolution. 

To apply their knowledge and skills students undertook a Mock Trial of the case of Spongebob Squarepants, who was accused of murdering Mr Krabs. Students worked in teams analysing the various pieces of evidence and witness testimonies. Students then presented arguments for the prosecution and defence. 

The students thoroughly enjoyed this learning experience and demonstrated skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration.
