Last Thursday, 7HSIE1 was honoured to welcome Mr. Veness into our classroom to expand our knowledge of climate graphs. Mr. Veness taught us a useful acronym that further expanded our understanding of how to create a neat and accurate climatic graph; this improved our graphing skills and reinforced the importance of having accurate data. In this session, we learnt how to visually represent precipitation and temperature on a climate graph.
We were given challenges to make our own graphs, which allowed us to become more familiar with reading and interpreting data. As well as noticing patterns in climate and weather in different environments—typically over the span of 12 months.  Year seven HSIE1 had an amazing time learning; we were very lucky to have Mr. Veness and Mrs. Russo guiding us throughout this lesson.
