Year 10 are currently completing their topic on 'Energy', where students have learnt about the power of elastic potential energy. An investigation was conducted for 10.5 and 10.2, where elastics were placed around watermelons to see how many were required to make them explode. Both watermelons exploded; requiring 580 and 672 elastic bands respectively.
