Year 11 Semester 1 Reports

Semester reports will be available for viewing via the Compass Parent Portal. These reports provide a detailed summary of each Year 11 student’s academic progress and achievements across all subjects, including outcome grades and an overall course grade. They also highlight learning habits, levels of engagement, and areas for improvement. Designed to inform families about current performance, the reports support meaningful discussions around learning, progress, and future goal setting. They also serve as a formal record aligned with curriculum requirements and school expectations. We encourage all families to review the report with their child and reach out to Subject Teachers or Leaders of Learning with any questions or concerns.

Year 7-10 Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews

A strong partnership between students, parents, and teachers is essential for student success. This partnership is built on honest, authentic, and constructive conversations that lead to meaningful feedback that can be actioned by all involved, with the shared goal of helping every student achieve their full academic potential. At Magdalene Catholic College, we remain committed to working together to ensure each student has every opportunity to succeed.

Interviews:

• Years 7 and 10: Interviews will be held on Thursday 26 June between 3:00pm and 8:00pm
• Years 8 and 9: Interviews will be held on Wednesday 2 July between 3:00pm and 8:00pm

For those who have been, or will be unable to attend, the interview night which are available, an opportunity to attend catch up interviews will occur on Thursday 3 July between 8:30am and 2:30pm. Students in Years 7-11 are welcome to make appointments during this time. These interviews provide an important opportunity to discuss student progress, reflect on academic achievements, and set goals for the remainder of the year. We encourage all families to engage in these conversations and take advantage of the valuable feedback offered by teachers.

Bookings will soon open to parents/carers, so please ensure you take the opportunity to secure times with each of your child’s teachers. As always, if you require any assistance with making appointments, please contact the College Office.
