Science Extension Students Present Research
This week, our Science Extension students, Adelaide and Santino, submitted and presented their ongoing Scientific Research Projects, showcasing months of thoughtful investigation and dedication. The Science Extension course provides students with a unique opportunity to explore the development of scientific knowledge over time, conduct high-level authentic research, and communicate their findings with confidence.
Adelaide is investigating whether an individual's grip strength is related to how many words they are able to write within a 20 minute time period, an intriguing study at the intersection of physiology and cognition.

Santino is exploring how the accuracy of maximum daily temperature predictions may be impacted by varying weather conditions throughout the year, offering insights into patterns and precision in meteorological forecasting.
Congratulations to both students on their impressive progress. Their work so far demonstrates strong scientific thinking and commitment, and we look forward to seeing how their Major Works continue to develop over the coming months.
