Magdalene was pleased to welcome the residents from Carrington for the annual Inter-Generational Shuffleboard challenge on Tuesday morning.

With the assistance of Mr Andrew Mortimer from Australian Shuffleboard, 10 residents and 6 students engaged in a highly competitive and enjoyable series of heats, which culminated in a suspenseful final. The Carrington residents were leading 5-2 with two ends remaining until they promoted a student's shuffle into the bonus 10 point scoring zone. The final score was Magdalene 12 - Carrington 7.

It was great to see the interactions between the residents and students, as well as the staff, which made the whole morning such a success. This activity builds on the relationships that continue to be formed by the College and our wider community.
