Admit 1: Against Animal Circus’
They torture and tease, They force with ease, They
find it funny, and laugh and chuckle, Too bad for us,
we stand and buckle, From whips and chains to costumes and dancing,
Everyone loves us and they come in chanting.
“We sing! We sing! But only for money”, This one is good,
because it sticks like honey, The beautiful tyrants love like
all, But behind closed doors they say we are smug and
small. Please don’t hurt us, we scream and shout, But all
they do is pinch and pout.
My home was comfy, stable and gentle, But pushing
me here is cruel and driving us mental. We beg to
leave, “Please Let us Go”, But the crows and vultures
scream “”Oh God No!”.
