This term students in Year 10 Physical Activity and Sport Studies have completed a coaching unit. Part of this unit was to design and implement training sessions in junior PDHPE classes. In the design of their training sessions, students were asked to focus on a particular skill from a sport of their choice and then progress this skill throughout the training session by utilising different forms of practice, including skill-based game simulations. Training sessions were implemented during practical lessons in week 4 - week 7. The Year 10 PASS students were outstanding in their design and implementation of the training sessions and should be congratulated on their efforts throughout this unit. Thank you to all PDHPE staff for their assistance throughout this unit and thank you to all of the junior PDHPE students who were participants throughout our training sessions.
