On Wednesday 14th October students in Years 9, 10 and 11 Drama were able to participate in a virtual online playbuilding workshop.

The event was coordinated by MISA and the workshop run by the Australian Theatre for Young People. In total, 7 of the MISA schools were involved.

The zoom workshop was facilitated by Drew Fairley (a highly accomplished actor, director and comedian).  Students were able to devise and create pieces of theatre through playbuilding.  Although it is not the same as being able to workshop face to face with students, teachers and theatre practitioners, it was still an enjoyable afternoon with plenty of laughs, improvisations and new ways to extend students with their performance skills and creativity.
