Careers Hub

START WITH WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT!

Not everyone knows exactly what they want to do when it comes to choosing a career. A good starting place is with the CAREERS BULLSEYES. These can be found on our Magdalene Catholic College webpage:

To make good use of them

  • Select your area of interest from the top grey boxes and click on it
  • From the righthand corner look at the training levels and think about what TRAINING LEVEL is a good fit with you. Here are the descriptions:

  • On the bullseye go to the circle representing this level and find the job that interests you and click on it. (the names of the jobs are INTERACTIVE)
  • It will take you to an information page about the job. Don’t forget to look at the skills you need on the YOU tab, the tasks you would need to do on THE JOB tab, the pay and future growth on THE FACTS tab and finally the courses you can do to get there in NSW (or any other state)
  • And finally, don’t forget listed on the right side are some related jobs to consider!!!

Please see the attached flyer promoting an online workshop on E-Cigarettes for Parents and Carers. E-cigarette use is on the rise and there is a lot of mixed/ mis-understanding about the effects of e-cigarettes, so it would be great to see a high circulation through school newsletters and family groups, regarding this workshop.
