MISA Competition

The last two weeks have seen some great results by Magdalene teams in the MISA competition. Congratulations to all teams.

This team are incredibly supportive of each other, playing in good spirits and cheering each other on. Their batting and bowling has already improved with Layla’s four and wicketkeeping a highlight!

Basketball Yr 7 - 9 Girls

The girls played well against an experienced opponent. Some great defense by Kaitlyn who never gave up, and good shooting by Jessica.

Awesome bowling from Katarina W and Samantha B, but the whole team should be applauded today. Susannah (15) and Amber (22) guided the team to their first win. A very proud coach!

A slow start to the game filled with turnovers. After a few minutes, the defence stepped up and simple lay ups followed. A good maintenance of pressure and accuracy gave us the win.

We started off slowing but our defense was great. We finally got better at sinking some basketsm with all girls attempting to score points. Great help in defense by Ashley and Josie

Bill Turner Cup and Trophy School Football Competition

  • Good luck to the Girls Bill Turner Trophy Team who will play Thomas Hassall Anglican College in Round 3 at Nott Oval, Narellan on Monday 24th May at 9.30am.
  • For the boys Bill Turner Cup Team, the Round 3 match is still to be confirmed.

Any girls interested in umpiring at the Primary Netball Gala Day (West Region Netball Gala Day - Thursday 17 June at Minto) need to see Mrs Andruschko by the end of Week 5.

Diocesan Athletics Carnival will be held Term 3 Week 2 - 23rd July. Results and notes will be handed out by the end of Week 6.

Registrations

Registrations for individuals wanting to attend CCC trials must be completed online via the CSNSW Sport website - https://csnsw.sport/. These trials are for individuals competing at a representative level or higher in their sport. For further details, please visit the website or contact Mrs Andruschko.
